FOUL…FOUL…FOUL!!!!!



2000…the race is on for President. Out of Texas comes a man who can look directly into the camera’s relentless eye, and promise one and all that if HE is elected President, he will bring HONOR and INTEGRITY back to the White House. This promise he makes us AFTER the witch hunting engaged in during the Kenneth Starr persecution of Bill Clinton …you know, the Bill AND Hillary Clinton that they tried to get ANYTHING remotely criminal against…spending BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer money, ONLY to come up with a lie he, Bill Clinton, told on a deposition for a CIVIL suit that technically should not have been allowed to occur while he was a SITTING PRESIDENT.

AGAIN…let me REITERATE…the ONLY thing the LYNCH-MOB mentality the Republicans could come up with to IMPEACH President Clinton for…was lying about his sex life, while the CHIEF Capitol lyncher, Newt Gingrich, conducted with his wife AND his MISTRESS sitting strategically several seats apart BEHIND him, ripped President Clinton a euphemistic NEW ONE.

STILL despite Clinton’s Impeachable crime…(I always thought Impeachment could only happen if the President had COMMITTED Treason, or oh…maybe…MURDER)…and the waste of the billions Kenneth Starr and his crack team of muckrakers…(Don’t you find it just a TAD hypocritical that Ann Coulter, the poster child for Republican’s lunacy now was on the team that represented Paula Jones and therefore, fed Starr the deposition USED to Impeach the President?)…Clinton left office with a HUGE surplus.

Now back to 2000 and the INTEGRITY AND HONOR promised by George W. Bush…or should I say BUSH JR.?

Today, March 20, 2007, Bush declared that he would OPPOSE anyone subpoenaing any one in his White House and he would ONLY allow his staff to have conversations OFF-THE-RECORD…WITHOUT TRANSCRIPTS…and NOT-UNDER-OATH! Imagine how easy the Clintons would have had it, had the Republicans been as righteous about NOT subpoenaing anyone connected with them. Clinton would have had a cake-walk...Makes you think, doesn't it?

Clinton lied about his personal sex life on a deposition for a Civil Law Suit instigated by Paula Jones, but steam-rollered by the Republicans. At NO point DESPITE years of dissecting every sneeze, hiccup, and social faux pas the Clintons had ever engaged in, did Kenneth Starr find anything remotely treasonous as defined BY the Constitution. Can the same be said for Mr. I-AM-GOING-TO-BRING-HONOR-AND-INTEGRITY-BACK-TO-THE-WHITEHOUSE say the same?

Hmmm…let me think on this.

Bush inherited a staggeringly healthy surplus that he gleefully spent within the fist six months of his reign….Six months…that’s January, February, March, April, May, and June of 2001. Still 2½ months BEFORE 9/11. By 9/11, Bush was ALREADY wantonly wracking up a deficit.

9/11…AlQaida attacks. Rightly Bush activates our Military to pursue those responsible for the attack upon us on our own soil. Afghanistan was a conflict that Americans AND world-wide opinion approved. Afghanistan WAS the appropriate place for Americans to go to war…But Bush could not let a chance to One-Up Daddy go by…Daddy Bush who did NOT advance into Iraq during Desert Storm. The same Daddy who ended his war quickly and decisively. The same Daddy that HAD complete UN support for his war against Saddam.

Bush Jr. LIED about Iraq’s WMDs. He refused to give the UN Inspectors any more time to prove or disprove his assertion that Iraq had and was planning to use Weapons of Mass Destruction and were in bed with AlQaida.

Lies…lies that cost Valerie Plame, the CIA agent whose husband dared to show that Bush and his minions had lied about Iraq’s contract with Niger. Lied so he, Bush, could bring down the gavel upon the Iraqi people with Shock-and-Awe pounding that they ares till reeling from FOUR YEARS later.

Outing an under-cover CIA operative that could compromise not only Ms. Plame but anyone who worked with her…anyone she had ever had contact with while performing her duties. Is that HOMELAND SECURITY? How is it in America’s best interest to out an agent whose job it is to seek out the intelligence needed to stay one-step-ahead-of-the-enemies?

Lies told freely and without remorse by Bush’s top men…lies that Bush refused to allow those top people from ever being held accountable…for unlike Kenneth Starr, the Special Prosecutor engaged to dig into the Valerie Plame outing did NOT rake beneath the layers of the Bush White House to prosecute ALL those responsible…choosing to stop with Scooter Libby and a half-hearted charge of PERJURY.

Had Clinton’s administration been responsible for outing Valerie Plame, I guarantee Kenneth Starr would not have rested with a minor perjury charge. Clinton, Gore, and anyone else even minimally connected with outing her would be in a Federal Prison for Treason….after all, Clinton was Impeached because he lied on a rinky-dinked perjury charge on a deposition that had absolutely NOTHING to do with his effectiveness as President.

Why is Bush so unwilling to have his minions testify ON-THE-RECORD, UNDER-OATH and in a public forum? He promised INTEGRITY AND HONOR, and yet that has been the farthest from what we have been stuck with.

No one is above the law…not even when the criminal faction pursues changing the Constitution to protect their own treasonous, illegal, immoral, bullying behaviors.

So, if the Democrats are so wrong about their assertions, it seems to me the best way to prove it is to allow public, on-the-record, under-oath testimony to verify it. BUt Bush and the Republicans are not willing to be as aggressive in truth seeking against their own as they were in picking apart every area of the Clinton's lives.

Your Attorney General needs to come clean about the firing of those US Attorneys, just as your Vice President and Mr, Rove SHOULD be investigated and if needed PROSECUTED for their part in the outing of Valerie Plame.

But then, the Republicans have a HISTORY of covering up the buck, don't they? Let's do a little recapping here...

First we have President Richard "I AM NOT A CROOK!" Milhouse Nixon...a Republican...who gave us the theft by the Republicans inside the Watergate...who left with his proverbial tail between his legs because of impending Impeachment proceedings against him for the cover-up, blanked out tapes, and the belief that he and his staff were ABOVE needing to respond to Legislative Oversight...{Deja vu of things to come?}

..AND President Gerald Ford...Tricky Dick's Republican Vice President...(anyone remember what NUMBER Vice President Gerald Ford was?)....first act as a never-voted-for Vice OR President...is to PARDON Tricky Dick...in "the best interest of the Country to speed up the healing process!!! YEAH RIGHT... I believed that then...Didn't you? And, oh SURE, I believed it now when the Current Republican in the White House lauded Ford for his concern for the Country and forsight in pardoning Nixon. I cannot help wondering if a Democrat would have been pardoned...But wait!! I KNOW he would not have...as the future would come to prove.

Jimmy Carter...Democrat...Lusted in his mind and was castigated for not being so dead that he could not admire a beautiful woman. Jimmy Carter...his brother's Billy Beer was exceptionally criminal...dontcha think? Terrible, terrible terrible.

President Reagan and Vice President Daddy Bush...Republicans both...Supplying arms to the Contras...ILLEGAL? Oh you beat your sweet(*^&%$#%&^*%$^&*) BUT no in depth prosecution....Poor Oliver North...scapegoat placed upon the chopping block by his superiors...you know, the President and his Vice.

President Daddy Bush...the S&L debacle...our great-great grandchildren will still be paying off that scam...and lest we all forgot, wasn't Neil Bush ANOTHER one of Daddy Bush's HONORABLE boys a part of this mess? And surely an adept Special Prosecutor COULD have found prosecutable acts...but of course no such Prosecutor was ever appointed.

President Clinton...Monica Lewinski...Paula Jones...and who KNOWS how many women he was with...Adultery is morally wrong, but prosecutable and lying about it...IMPEACHABLE? Only if you have a rabid dog like Kenneth Starr who was determined to prosecute Clinton...a DEMOCRAT...with the tenacity that can only be brought to bear if the offender happens to be not-a-Republican!

President Baby Boy Bush...how many criminal acts do we already know about perpetrated by him and his minions? But Scooter Libby is the Ollie North of Baby Boy's time. Sacrificial lamb...for perjury...same charge that they IMPEACHED Clinton for...only Scooter's perjury is NOT about an overactive personal libido, but for lying about outing a CIA operative to the media and the world. Which do you think is more dangerous to the SECURITY of the United States? With Monica we got some butt-ugly purses...with the outing of Valerie Plame? With the Abu Ghraib and Gitmo torture? With the invasion, and occupation of Iraq? With the response to those devasated by Huricane Katrina? The humongously obscene deficit and misappropriations of federal funds?

It is TIME that the Republicans allow the truth to be told...unless...

What are you so afraid of Mr. Bush?

Honor and Integrity require truth and transparency. You offer secrecy, subterfuge, and apoplexy when legitimate questions arise. That’s’ NOT acceptable, Mr. Bush! You are not a king, emir, emperor, shah, kaiser, tsar, sheik, or any other all-powerful despot. You are a SERVANT of the American People. Nothing more and nothing less.

Baghdad Ann

When I learned that Ann Coulter, that wickedly vile author of hate-mongering rubbish, was going to have another book published by Random House, I was Incensed! But I've had some time to think about it. Ann's a marvelous poster child for how vile and irrational the Republican Party has become. So keep those vitriolic ramblings coming Ann. Each one proves how irrationally narrow & small-minded you and your fellow venom spewers are.

In case you've forgotten, Ann...Hitler got published...obviously being an insane despot doesn't keep you from raking your muck in black and white...does it?

But Ann, before I sign off...let me ask YOU a question? If Bush's war is SO right, why don't you enlist and parade your butt over there? Afraid you'll lose your sassy existence, like oh...say...Cindy Sheehan's son lost his?

Political Patience? Oxymoron!

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue urges the American People to have PATIENCE with his botched strategies in Iraq!

Patience...hmmm...Patience...for HIS debacle in Iraq? Patience...How come that is a word that NOW is in the Bush Administration's vocabulary when PATIENCE was NOT an option he could bestow upon the UN Inspectors back in...ohhh, January, or February, or early in March of 2002? You know back when this Administration STRESSED to one and all that Iraq HAD and was planning to USE their WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION and had HIDDEN them from the UN Inspectors?

Patience...1600 Pennsylvania Avenue wants the American people AND the World to have patience now...four loooonnnnngggg years after Shock and Awe leveled much of the Country that has YET to yield any of those weapons the Administration was too IMPATIENT to allow the weapons Inspectors to continue searching for.

Patience...Haven't the American people been patient enough? Haven't the American people sacrificed enough to the lies and incompetence of this Administration?

Patience...patience bestowed upon an administration that has botched up one-after-another of its promises to America AND the World, either from arrogance alone, or incompetence and arrogance.

Patience wears thin when it has been given to one who is not able to come through on promises and assertion made then conveniently denied.

Patience and THIS Administration IS an oxymoron! AND personally I have little faith in morons, be they oxy or otherwise!

The Ben in Me.

Allow me to begin this posting by telling you those attributes of Ben that I do NOT have. I do not, at least, as yet, have the overwhelming desire to take kite, loop it through with key, and wade out into the midst of a raging lightning storm. This may, of course, be because electricity has ALREADY been discovered. Although, had Ben not performed this daring-do many, MANY years ago, I'm not sure I'd be, at this stage of my life, willing to be the first to place myself in the path of becoming a human crispy critter.

I have no desire to wallow in the depths of printer's ink to create my own newspaper or my own almanack. Imagine the brain power needed to predict all those important weather trends for the upcoming year? Considering how difficult our current meteorologists have it predicting what Mother Nature has in store for us a week from now, DESPITE having such awesome technological tools as Doppler Radar, I doubt my meager musings would be accurate enough to qualify me for authoring an almanac.

My lungs have too many floaty things within them and a cough that is violent enough to break ribs, so creating and then participating in Fire Fighting is something I do NOT aspire to emulate. (Ben WAS a well-rounded kinda Father-of-the-Nation...wasn't he?)

I ADORE that he created the first Library. As an avid reader on a limited income, being able to access the Library and borrow books for FREE is just AMAZING! (Only knowing that when I pass on I will have access to the Public Library of Heaven, is more exciting to me.)

I have not found myself channeling Ben's delectation's where his libido is concerned. I am perfectly content with my less than stellar private world. It would be far too EXHAUSTING to try to emulate Ben's sex life.

BUT I find myself happily falling in line with his OTHER private activity. I remember when I first read about his AIR-BATHS, I was amused and just a little bit scandalized. Why, I found myself wondering, would a man as intelligent as Ben strip off his civilized attire, open a window, in the DEAD-OF-WINTER and sit there exposing himself to frigidity?!!!!

I now KNOW why! As I have aged, my body's thermostat has gone totally wacky. While the rest of the world shivers beneath the biting chill of a North Wind, I find delicious relief. While others hover beside their radiators, fireplaces, or space heaters, I throw open my windows and sigh in ecstasy.

So now that I have crossed the half-century mark, I FULLY understand why Ben Franklin delighted in the icy tendrils of Winter's breath.

Not in Kansas Any More

I Promised myself I was not going to write a blog entry about the circus that surrounds the birth, death, and yes, DEATH of the Anna Nicole insanity, but if I don't I'm very much afraid that I will go insane.

Like Dorothy clutching her dog Toto after her homicidal house touched down in OZ, I am reeling from Hisicane Stern.

First we have Anna Nicole giving birth to her new child DannieLynn in her NEW country the Bahamas...(Does anyone know how long the NORMAL person has to reside in the Bahamas before acquiring citizenship?)...What WAS Anna, who'd just won a MAJOR coup from the U.S. Supreme Court...let me repeat myself here...the UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT...NOT the Bahamian Supreme Court...to continue her efforts to squeeze more money from the estate of her late...VERY ancient...(do you think her marriage to her Billionaire husband really was consummated?)...hubby thinking? Changing citizenship when you still have such a HUGE battle to wage in the Country of your birth? That just doesn't make any sense...does it?

Now correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't ANNA already pregnant when she appeared before the Supreme Court here in the good old U.S. of A.? So at the very most that had to mean she was in residence in the Bahamas less than nine months. Doesn't seem like a lot of time to establish the prerequisites for becoming a citizen...Fast Tracked...Hmmm...do you think she was Fast Tracked?

Daniel, her only offspring prior to the birth of her new daughter dies two days later in the presence of Hisicane Stern...(For those who haven't heard his name blasted from every media avenue, I am, of course speaking of Howard K. Stern...Anna Nicole's alleged lawyer, manager, boyfriend, and sperm donor.)

Mr. Stern's name appears on DannieLynn's birth certificate in the Bahamas as the father...even though he claims now that he had been Anna's lover all along, although not EXCLUSIVELY. He also explains that they kept his personal involvement with Ms. Smith secret because of his role as her attorney...

Sonuva-snake-in-the-grass! If they were indeed conducting a liaison but covertly because of his role as her attorney, he willingly violated the ethics required by the law, the law he had to pass the Bar to practice under...therefore, it would seem to me, that ANY document he officiated over should be suspect and set aside.

Many of the videos of Anna of late, with Howard hovering close by, show her to be so spaced-out that it is a wonder she was able to form two words into anything remotely coherent, let alone sign any binding legal documents.

Was Anna in a sane frame of mind when she high-tailed it to the Bahamas? Was Anna in a sane frame of mind when she had Hisicane Howard placed on the birth certificate of her daughter as the father? If Howard IS the biological father, why would the owner of the mansion that she was living in have GIFTED it to her because of his relationship with Anna? OH WHAT A TANGLED WEB HISICANE HOWARD CONTINUES TO WEAVE!

Howard's sister claims that Howard has not made any money off of Anna since 1996. Then how can he afford all the attorneys both here and in the Bahamas that are fighting for him to retain control over all things ANNA?

Howard was allegedly off buying a luxury boat when Anna died. Since his sister said that Howard was living off of money his parents gave him, how could he afford a boat?

In summation...Anna was a gold digger. Howard is the male equivalent of a gold digger. They deserved each other...EXCEPT, there is a baby girl who is not even mentioned as a future possibility in the will Anna and Howard made six years ago. The SOLE heir to Anna's estate, whatever that estate ends up being, is Daniel. Daniel died two days after Anna gave birth with Howard K. in attendance. The will specifically excludes future children and/or spouses from inheriting, but Howard is prominently listed as the EXECUTOR of the will. With Daniel dead, the ONLY one listed as having ANY claim upon her estate in the will is Howard. The same Howard who now says he and Anna kept their intimate relationship secret because of his role as her attorney.

Do you think Dorothy was as confused in Oz as we are trying to squirm our way through the land that is ANNA NICOLE SMITH?
